Subject to these terms, Byt-Wyze grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to call the Byt-Wyze APIs within your issued quota, for your own internal or contracted use. No rights in the underlying algorithms, models, parameters or datasets are transferred.

Research-tier access is granted on condition of citation. Any publication, preprint, dataset, report or presentation that relies on Byt-Wyze API outputs must cite Byt-Wyze as the source and name the product and version used. Commercial tiers are not required to cite, but must not misattribute our outputs to another source.

We may add, change or deprecate endpoints. For breaking changes on paid tiers we aim to give reasonable advance notice and, where practical, to keep the previous behaviour available during a transition period.

We may throttle, suspend or revoke a key without notice where usage threatens the stability or security of the service, breaches these terms, or is unlawful. Where suspension is not urgent, we will contact you first.

  • Free tier: a limited monthly allowance for evaluation, where offered on the relevant product.
  • Research tier: 1,000 calls per month for non-commercial academic and research use, with a higher allowance available by written agreement.
  • Commercial tiers: quotas as stated on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
  • Quotas are enforced at our proxy. Exceeding a quota results in a rate-limit response, not silent truncation.
  • Keys are personal to your account and must not be shared, resold or embedded in client-side code.
  • Keys must be transmitted only over HTTPS and stored in a secret manager or server-side environment.
  • You are responsible for all usage under your key. Notify us immediately if a key is exposed so it can be revoked and reissued.
  • No reverse engineering, model extraction or systematic querying designed to reconstruct our methods or data.
  • No resale, white-labelling or provision of the API as a competing service without written agreement.
